Shanghai-Hangzhou High-speed Railway 沪杭高铁

The Shanghai-Hangzhou High-speed Railway connects Shanghai and Hangzhou and is a section of the Shanghai-Kunming Passenger Dedicated Line in China’s “Four Vertical and Four Horizontal” passenger line network. It leads from Shanghai Hongqiao Station to Hangzhou East Station via Songjiang South, Jinshan North, Jiashan South, Jiaxing South, Tongxiang, Haining West and Yuhang South, and is connected to Shanghai Station and Hangzhou Station through tie lines. The main line is 160 kilometers long. , 87% of which are bridge projects, and there are 9 stations along the entire line. The design speed of the entire line is 350 kilometers per hour. The project started on February 26, 2009 and was officially opened to traffic on October 26, 2010. The Shanghai-Hangzhou High-speed Railway was put into trial operation on September 28, 2010. At 11:40 noon that day, the Shanghai-Hangzhou High-speed Railway (Shanghai-Hangzhou) reached a maximum operating speed of 416.6 kilometers per hour, continuing to set the world’s highest speed for railway operation tests.

沪杭高铁连接上海与杭州,是中国“四纵四横”客运专线网络中沪昆客运专线的一段。由上海虹桥站引出,经松江南、金山北、嘉善南、嘉兴南、桐乡、海宁西、余杭南引入杭州东站,并通过联络线与上海站、杭州站相接,正线全长160公里,其中87%为桥梁工程,全线设车站9座。全线设计时速为350公里。工程自2009年2月26日动工,2010年10月26日正式通车营运。2010年9月28日沪杭高铁试运行,当天中午11时40分,沪杭高铁(上海-杭州)运行最高时速达到416.6公里,继续刷新世界铁路运营试验的最高时速。
