The Hu-Hangzhou Railway leads from Huzhou Station and connects to Tonglu Station of the Hangzhou-Huang High-speed Railway. It is a double-line high-speed railway with a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour, a main line length of 128.992 kilometers, and a tie line length of 6.796 kilometers. The Hu-Hangzhou Railway starts from Huzhou City in the north, passes through Deqing County of Huzhou City, Yuhang District and Fuyang District of Hangzhou City, and ends at Tonglu County in the south. The total length of the line is 137.7 kilometers, with a target speed of 350 kilometers per hour. The investment is estimated to be 28.34 billion yuan, of which the total length of the line in Fuyang is about 38.8 kilometers. The project is planned to start construction before the end of 2018 and be completed and open to traffic before the 2022 Asian Games.
The Huzhou-Hangzhou-West-Hangzhou-Huangzhou railway connection line is the southern extension of the Shanghe-Hangzhou and Nanjing-Hangzhou railways, the main skeleton of the national high-speed railway network. It is the auxiliary channel of the east section of the Shanghai-Kunming Railway from Nanchang; it is a component of the Yangtze River Delta intercity railway network. A key project to partially and fully realize the one-hour traffic circle in Zhejiang Province. The construction of the project will play a positive role in promoting Fuyang’s connection with the Yangtze River Delta, integrating into the construction of the Greater Bay Area, Grand Garden, and Grand Channel metropolitan area in the province, and accelerating Fuyang’s economic and social development.
湖杭铁路自湖州站引出，接入杭黄高铁桐庐站，为双线高速铁路，设计速度350公里/小时，正线长度128.992公里，联络线长6.796公里 。湖杭铁路北起湖州市，途经湖州市德清县和杭州市余杭区、富阳区，南至桐庐县。线路全长137.7公里，速度目标值350公里/小时，投资估算283.4亿元，其中富阳境内线路总长约38.8公里。项目计划于2018年年底前开工建设，2022年亚运会前建成通车。
湖州至杭州西至杭黄铁路连接线是国家高速铁路网主骨架商合杭、宁杭铁路的南延通道，是沪昆铁路南昌以东段的辅助通道；是长三角城际铁路网的组成部分和全面实现浙江省1小时交通圈的关键性工程。项目的建设，对于富阳接轨长三角，融入全省大湾区大花园大通道大都市区建设，加快富阳经济社会发展将起到积极的推动作用。
