Fuzhou-Xiamen High-speed Railway 福厦高速铁路

The Fuzhou-Xiamen High-speed Railway, also known as the Fuzhou-Xiamen Passenger Dedicated Line, is a high-speed railway connecting Fuzhou and Zhangzhou in Fujian Province. It is my country’s first cross-sea high-speed railway with a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. It is an “eight vertical and eight horizontal” railway network. It is an important passage of the southeast coastal high-speed railway and an important part of the Ningbo-Guangzhou high-speed railway. The Fuzhou-Xiamen High-speed Railway starts from Fuzhou City in the north and ends at Xiamen City and Zhangzhou City in the south. The total length of the main line is 277.42 kilometers. There are 8 passenger stations along the line: Fuzhou South, Fuqing West, Putian, Quangang, Quanzhou East, Quanzhou South, Xiamen North, and Zhangzhou. . On January 15, 2017, the Fuzhou-Xiamen high-speed railway pilot project started in the Zhangzhou Taiwanese Investment Zone; on August 30, 2022, the entire Fuzhou-Xiamen high-speed railway track will be laid and completed.

福厦高速铁路，又名福厦客运专线，是一条福建省境内连接福州市与漳州市的高速铁路，我国首条设计时速每小时350公里的跨海高铁 ，是“八纵八横”铁路网东南沿海高速铁路重要通道、甬广高速铁路的重要组成部分。福厦高铁北起福州市，南至厦门市和漳州市，正线全长277.42公里，沿线设福州南、福清西、莆田、泉港、泉州东、泉州南、厦门北、漳州8座客运车站。2017年1月15日，福厦高速铁路先行工程在漳州台商投资区开工；2022年8月30日，福厦高速铁路全线铺轨贯通。
