Ganzhou-Rujin-Longyan Railway 赣瑞龙铁路

Ganzhou-Rujin-Longyan Railway, also known as Ganzhou-Rujin-Longyan Railway, is a capacity expansion and reconstruction project of Ganzhou-Rujin Railway. It is a national railway Class I railway connecting Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province and Longyan City, Fujian Province. It is an important part of the “Xiamen-Chongqing Channel”, one of the main corridors of the “Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal” high-speed railways in the “Medium and Long-term Railway Network Plan” (2016 Edition). The Ganrui-Long Railway starts from Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province in the west and ends at Longyan City, Fujian Province in the east. It passes through Zhanggong District, Gan County, Yudu County, Huichang County, Ruijin City, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, and Changting County, Liancheng County, Shanghang County, Fujian Province. County, Silla District. The line connects Ganzhou City to the west and connects with the Beijing-Kowloon Railway; it connects Longyan City to the east and connects with the Longxia and Zhanglong Railways.
The completion and opening of the Ganrui-Long Railway has brought new impetus to the development of southern Gansu. By connecting the Beijing-Kowloon and Ganshao Railways, the distance from Ganzhou to Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Changsha will also be shortened to less than two hours. The “half-hour living circle” and “1-hour traffic circle” were quietly formed. The old areas of southern Gansu can be fully connected with the Xiamen Special Economic Zone and the Fujian Free Trade Zone, and the mineral and tourism resources of southern Gansu will be further developed. The Ganrui-Long Railway is an important part of the national railway network and the main line of the external channels of Jiangxi and Fujian provinces. It will promote the advanced development of the economic zone on the west bank of the Taiwan Strait, improve the external railway transportation capacity and quality of Jiangxi Province, and expand the ports in the central and western regions. In the hinterland of the mainland, it is of great significance to develop mineral and tourism resources in old revolutionary areas such as southern Jiangxi and western Fujian and promote the rapid economic development of old revolutionary areas along the route.

赣瑞龙铁路（Ganzhou-Rujin-Longyan Railway），又名赣龙铁路复线，是赣龙铁路扩能改造工程项目，是一条连接江西省赣州市与福建省龙岩市的国铁Ⅰ级铁路，是《中长期铁路网规划》（2016年版）中“八纵八横”高速铁路主通道之一“厦渝通道”的重要组成部分。赣瑞龙铁路西起江西省赣州市，东至福建省龙岩市，途径江西省赣州市章贡区、赣县、于都县、会昌县、瑞金市，福建长汀县、连城县、上杭县、新罗区。线路西连赣州市，与京九铁路衔接；东接龙岩市，与龙厦、漳龙铁路接轨。
赣瑞龙铁路的建成通车为赣南的发展带来新动力，通过衔接京九、赣韶铁路，赣州到广州、深圳、长沙的距离也将缩短至两小时以内，“朝发午至”“半小时生活圈”“1小时交通圈”悄然形成。赣南老区可以全面对接厦门经济特区和福建自贸区，赣南的矿产、旅游资源将得以进一步开发。赣瑞龙铁路是国家铁路网的重要组成部分，是江西、福建两省对外通道的主干线，对促进海峡西岸经济区的先行发展，提高江西省对外铁路运输能力和质量，扩大港口中西部内陆腹地，开发赣南、闽西等革命老区矿产、旅游资源，促进沿线革命老区经济快速发展具有重要意义 。
