Hanbanan Railway 汉巴南铁路

The Hanbanan Railway is a railway from Hanzhong, Shaanxi to Nanchong via Bazhong, Sichuan. It is included in the “Medium and Long-term Railway Network Plan” and is about 290 kilometers, of which about 50 kilometers are in Hanzhong, Shaanxi, and about 135 kilometers and 105 are respectively in Bazhong and Nanchong, Sichuan. kilometers, with a design speed of 250 kilometers per hour. The total project construction period is 4.5 years and the total investment is 21.62 billion yuan.
The Nanchong to Bazhong section of the Hanbanan South Railway is Sichuan Province’s first high-speed railway project fully funded and constructed by the local government. It is designed and constructed according to the standard of 250 kilometers per hour for passenger dedicated lines. The entire line is equipped with Nanchong North (connection station), Muba, and Yilong. , Ma’an, Enyang, Bazhong and other 6 stations, the total length of the main line is 147.7 kilometers. The total construction period of the project is 4.5 years, with a total investment of 21.62 billion yuan. The construction is jointly financed by Sichuan Railway Investment Group, Nanchong City, and Bazhong City People’s Government, with capital accounting for 50% of the total investment. The Hanbanan High-speed Railway is known as a “red railway”, “poverty alleviation railway” and “revitalization railway”. It is located in the core of the old revolutionary base areas of Sichuan and Shaanxi, and runs through the core areas of the Sichuan and Shaanxi revolutionary bases such as Yilong, Bazhong and Nanzheng. After completion, it will become an important transportation infrastructure for the economic development of the old revolutionary areas. It will have important practical significance for implementing various national decisions and arrangements for targeted poverty alleviation and targeted poverty alleviation, and improving the living standards of residents along the route.

汉巴南铁路南充至巴中段系四川省首条由地方全额出资并主导建设的高速铁路项目,按客运专线时速250公里标准设计修建,全线设南充北(接轨站)、睦坝、仪陇、马鞍、恩阳、巴中东等6座车站,正线全长147.7公里。项目建设总工期4.5年,总投资216.2亿元,由四川省铁投集团、南充市、巴中市人民政府共同筹资建设,资本金占总投资的50%。汉巴南高铁被誉为一条“红色铁路”“扶贫铁路”“振兴铁路”,其沿线处于川陕革命老区核心地,纵贯仪陇、巴中、南郑等川陕革命根据地核心地带,路建成后将成为革命老区经济发展的重要交通基础设施,对落实国家精准扶贫、精准脱贫的各项决策部署,提高沿线居民人民生活水平等方面具有重要的现实意义。
