Hohhot-Nanning High-speed Railway 呼南高速铁路

Hohhot-Nanning High-speed Railway, referred to as the Nanning High-speed Railway, also known as the Nanning Passenger Dedicated Line, is a high-speed railway connecting Hohhot City in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Nanning City in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is China’s “Medium and Long-term Railway Network Plan” The important “one vertical” of the “eight vertical and eight horizontal” high-speed railways in “Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal Railways” runs north-south and is one of the trunk railways in central and western China.
The Hunan High-Speed Railway runs from Hohhot East Station to Nanning East Station, with a total length of approximately 2,300 kilometers, a maximum design speed of 350 kilometers per hour, and an operating speed of 300 kilometers per hour. The Hunan High-speed Railway starts from Hohhot East Station, passes through six provinces and regions including Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, and Guangxi, and ends at Nanning East Station. The total length of the line is about 2,300 kilometers, with a design speed of 250~350km/h. Along the way there are mainly stations such as Hohhot East Station, Taiyuan South Station, Zhengzhou East Station, Xiangyang Dongjin Station, Changde Station, Guilin North Station, and Nanning East Station. On December 29, 2009, the Zhengjiao section of the Hunan High-speed Railway started construction; on October 31, 2015, the Zhengxiang section of the Hunan High-speed Railway started construction; on June 16, 2016, the Taijiao section of the Hunan High-speed Railway officially started construction.

呼南高速铁路(Hohhot-Nanning High-speed Railway)，简称呼南高铁，又称呼南客运专线，是一条连接内蒙古自治区呼和浩特市与广西壮族自治区南宁市的高速铁路，是中国《中长期铁路网规划》中“八纵八横”高速铁路的重要“一纵”，呈南北走向，为中国中西部地区的干线铁路之一。
呼南高速铁路自呼和浩特东站至南宁东站，全长约2300公里，设计最高时速350千米，运营时速为300千米。呼南高铁始于呼和浩特东站,经过内蒙古、山西、河南、湖北、湖南、广西6省区,止于南宁东站,线路全长约2300公里,设计时速250~350km/h。沿途主要设有呼和浩特东站、太原南站、郑州东站、襄阳东津站、常德站、桂林北站、南宁东站等站点。2009年12月29日，呼南高速铁路郑焦段开工建设；2015年10月31日，呼南高速铁路郑襄段开工建设；2016年6月16日，呼南高速铁路太焦段正式开工。
