Huanghuang High-speed Railway 黄黄高速铁路

The Huanghuang High-speed Railway is a component of the Wuhan-Hangzhou High-speed Railway and the Beijing-Kowloon High-speed Railway section, one of the “Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal” in the “National Medium and Long-term Railway Network Plan”. It starts from the Wugang Intercity Huanggang City Huanggang East Station in the north, passes through Xishui County, Qichun County, Wuxue City, and Huangmei County in the southeast. The main line serves as the southern section of Hubei Province of the Beijing-Kowloon Passenger Line and enters Konglong Functional Station into Jiujiang. The Huanggang-Huangmei Railway is part of the southern Hubei section of the Beijing-Kowloon High-speed Railway and an important part of the Wu-Hangzhou High-speed Railway. It is of great significance in promoting the social and economic development of the entire Huanggang region.
The Huanghuang High-speed Railway has a total length of 125.12 kilometers and an operating speed of 350 kilometers per hour. Construction started on October 12, 2017 and will be opened to traffic in 2021. The lines include Huanggang East Station, Xishui South Station, Qichun South Station, and Wuxue North Station. Station, Huangmei South Station, and five stations. It is a high-standard, high-density, and large-capacity high-speed railway. After the Huanghuang high-speed railway is opened to traffic, it will only take 15 minutes from Wuhan to Huanggang, the travel time from Wuhan to Jiujiang will be shortened to 1 hour, and it will only take 2 hours to reach Nanchang from Wuhan. It only takes 90 minutes to get from Wuhan to Anqing, and only 3 hours from Wuhan to Hangzhou. On October 12, 2017, the construction of the Huangmei section of the Huanghuang high-speed railway officially started. On December 28, 2017, the Huanggang West Station renovation project of Huanghuang High-Speed Railway officially started construction. On December 10, 2018, the construction of the entire Huanghuang High-Speed Railway started.

黄黄高速铁路是《国家中长期铁路网规划》中“八纵八横”之一的武杭高铁、京九高铁段的组成部分。北起武冈城际黄冈市黄冈东站，向东南途经浠水县，蕲春县，武穴市，黄梅县，正线作为京九客专湖北省南段接入孔垄功能站进入九江，黄冈至黄梅铁路是京九高铁湖北南段的一部分，也是武杭高铁的重要组成部分，对促进整个黄冈地区社会经济发展具有十分重要的意义。
黄黄高速铁路全长125.12公里，运营时速350公里每小时，于2017年10月12日开工建设，2021年通车运营，线路设黄冈东站、浠水南站、蕲春南站、武穴北站、黄梅南站，五个车站，是一条高标准、高密度、大能力的高速铁路。黄黄高速铁路通车后，武汉到黄冈仅需15分钟，武汉到九江旅行时间缩短至1个小时，武汉到南昌只需要2个小时便可到达。武汉到安庆只需要90分钟到达，武汉到杭州只需要3个小时便可到达。2017年10月12日，黄黄高速铁路黄梅段正式开工建设。2017年12月28日，黄黄高速铁路黄冈西站改造工程正式开工建设。2018年12月10日，黄黄高速铁路全线动工建设。
