Southern Sichuan Rail 川南铁路

The Inter-city Railway of Southern Sichuan, which is divided into the Neijiang-Zigong-Luzhou Railway and the Chengdu-Kunming High-speed Railway Zigong-Yibin section. The total length of the railway is 220.65 km, all of which are newly built passenger-dedicated lines. The main line of the Neijiang-Zigong-Luzhou section is 130.96 km long, with a design speed of 250 km/h (with reserved space for increasing speed up to 300 km/h); the main line of the Zigong-Yibin section is 82.4 km long, with a design speed of 350 km/h. There are 7 stations along the full length of the Neijiang-Zigong-Luzhou section, and 5 stations along the full length of the Zigong-Yibin section, with Zigong East Station being the regional hub.

The newly built high-speed inter-city passenger rail line in Southern Sichuan is located in the southern region of Sichuan Province and is divided into two sections: the Neijiang to Zigong to Luzhou Railway and the Zigong to Yibin Railway. The Neijiang to Zigong to Luzhou Railway starts from the Neijiang North Station of the Chengdu-Chongqing Passenger Dedicated Line in Neijiang City and heads south through Baima and Yong’an, entering Zigong territory. Zigong East Station is set up in Xianshi, then turning towards Fushun with a station set up there, entering Luzhou territory. The route continues southbound, setting up the Luzhou County Station in Luzhou County, and finally ends at Luzhou Station in Luzhou City; the Zigong to Yibin Railway starts from Zigong East Station on the Neijiang to Zigong to Luzhou line, heading south through Dengguan and then into the territory of Yibin, passing through Daguang and Lingang, and ending at Yibin West Station. The Luzhou section of the Southern Sichuan Intercity Railway is part of the Chengdu-Zunyi High-speed Railway.

川南城际铁路（The Inter-city Railway of Southern Sichuan），分为内自泸铁路和蓉昆高铁自宜段两段。铁路全长220.65km，均为新建客运专线，其中内自泸段正线长度130.96km，速度目标值250km/h（预留300km/h提速空间）；自宜段正线长度82.4km，速度目标值350km/h。内自泸段全线共设7个车站，自宜段全线共设5个车站，区域枢纽站为自贡东站。 新建川南城际高速客运专线铁路位于四川省南部地区，分为内江至自贡至泸州铁路和自贡至宜宾铁路两段。内江至自贡至泸州铁路起于内江市成渝客专内江北站，向南经白马、永安后进入自贡境内，在仙市设自贡东站，后转向富顺，设富顺站，进入泸州境内，线路南行经泸县设泸县站，最终止于泸州市泸州站；自贡至宜宾铁路起于内江至自贡至泸州线自贡东站，向南经邓关后进入宜宾境内，再经大观、临港，止于宜宾西站。川南城际铁路自泸段为蓉遵高速铁路的组成部分。
