Datong-Zhangjiakou High-speed Railway 大张高铁

Datong-Zhangjiakou High-speed Railway, referred to as Dazhang High-speed Railway, also known as Dazhang Passenger Line, is a high-speed railway connecting Datong City and Zhangjiakou City. It is an important branch line of the Beijing-Kunming Passenger Line and the Beijing-Kunming Passenger Line. The branch line of the channel is a passenger transportation throat project that connects Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi, and Shaanxi. It is also the “lifeline” of external exchanges in northern Shanxi. The Dazhang High-Speed Railway runs from Datong South Station to Zhangjiakou Station, with a total length of 141.613 kilometers and 5 stations. The designed maximum speed is 250 kilometers per hour. The Dazhang High-speed Railway officially started construction on November 18, 2015, and was fully operational on December 30, 2019.
Dazhang High-speed Railway is the high-speed railway from Datong City, Shanxi Province to Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. This project is located in northern Shanxi Province and northwest Hebei Province. It is a section of the planned Beijing-Baotou High-speed Railway. The line starts from Huairen County, Shuozhou City, passes through Datong Hub, passes through Yanggao and Tianzhen, and ends at Huai’an Station of the Huzhang Railway. . The eastern end of this line connects the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Intercity Railway and the Huzhou-Zhangjiakou High-speed Railway, and the western end connects to the newly-built Beitong-Puzhou Line 4 and then connects to the Daxi-Western High-speed Railway. As a supplement and improvement of the Beijing-Baotou Passenger Transport Channel and the Daxi Passenger Dedicated Line, the Dazhang High-speed Railway is the main channel for external passenger exchanges in northern Shanxi. It is a fast passenger transport channel for exchanges between western Inner Mongolia and northern Hebei and Shanxi, Shaanxi, and southwest China. Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and It is an auxiliary channel for passenger exchanges between Northeast China and central and southern Shanxi. It is also a dedicated passenger line that takes into account intercity passenger flow. It is of extremely important strategic significance for improving the rapid passenger transportation network in North China and promoting the rapid economic development of northern China.

大张高速铁路(Datong-Zhangjiakou High-speed Railway),简称大张高铁,又名大张客运专线,是一条连接大同市与张家口市的高速铁路,是京包客专的重要支线,也是京昆通道的支线,是贯通京、津、冀、晋、陕的客运咽喉工程,也是晋北地区对外交流的“生命线”。大张高速铁路由大同南站至张家口站,全长141.613千米,设5个车站,设计的最高速度为250千米/小时。大张高速铁路于2015年11月18日正式开工;于2019年12月30日全线开通运营。
大张高铁,即山西省大同市至河北省张家口市高速铁路。该工程位于山西省北部和河北省西北部地区,为规划京包高速铁路其中一段,线路起自朔州市怀仁县经大同枢纽引出,途经阳高、天镇至呼张客专怀安站。本线东端衔接京张城际铁路和呼张高速铁路,西端连接新建北同蒲四线进而连通大西高铁。大张高速铁路作为京包客运通道和大西客运专线的补充和完善,是晋北对外旅客交流的主通道,是内蒙古西、冀北与山西、陕西、西南交流的快速客运通道,京津冀和东北地区与晋中南旅客交流的辅助通道,也是兼顾城际客流的客运专线,对完善华北地区快速客运网、促进华北北部经济快速发展有着极其重要的战略意义。
