Delongyan Railway 德龙烟铁路

The Delongyan Railway was invested and built by Shandong High-speed Group. It is a high-speed railway composed of Deda (completed), Dalailong (completed), and Longyan (completed) sections. It is called the second “Jiaoji Railway” “. The Deda section leads from Huangheya Station in Dezhou City, passes through Yangxin, Binzhou, Dongying, and ends at Jiajiawa in the north of Weifang City in the east where it connects with Dalailong Railway. The Dalailong section has been put into operation. The Longyan section connects Dalailong Railway to the west and Yantai City to the east.
Delongyan Railway is the trunk line framework of Shandong Province’s “Four Vertical and Four Horizontal” railway network, with a total length of 588 kilometers. It can be said to be the second “Jiaoji Railway” connecting east and west in Shandong Province. The construction of the Delongyan Railway is an important deployment of the “Backward One Body and Two Wings” development strategy of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government. It will be connected with Huangda (Huanghua-Jiajiawa), which is also about to start construction, to form a new Bohai Rim Railway access. The construction of this northern coastal railway channel has opened up a new channel for coal transportation, connecting Binzhou Port, Dongying Port, Weifang Port and Yantai Port, and radiating to Weihai Port. These five major ports in northern Shandong can transport coal from the west and export metal ores to the west through railways, which will greatly enhance the port’s collection and distribution capabilities and competitiveness.

德龙烟铁路由山东高速集团注资修建，由德大(已建成)、大莱龙(已建成)、龙烟(已建成)段共同组成的快速铁路，被称为第二条”胶济铁路”。德大段，自德州市黄河涯站引出，经过阳信、滨州、东营，东至潍坊市北部的大家洼与大莱龙铁路相接。大莱龙段已投入运营。龙烟段西接大莱龙铁路，东至烟台市。
德龙烟铁路是山东省”四纵四横”铁路网的干线框架，全线长588公里，可谓山东省贯通东西的第二条”胶济铁路”。德龙烟铁路的建设是山东省委、省政府”落后一体两翼”发展战略的重要部署，它将与也将开工建设的黄大(黄骅-大家洼)连为一体，形成一条新的环渤海铁路通道。这条北部沿海铁路通道的建设，开辟出了一条煤炭运输的新通道，将滨州港、东营港、潍坊港、烟台港连成一体，并辐射威海港。山东北部这五大港口可实现通过铁路从西部运来煤炭、向西部输出金属矿石等，将极大地增强港口的集疏运能力和竞争力。
