Baoji-Lanzhou high Speed Railway

The Baoji-Lanzhou high-speed railway has a total length of 401 kilometers and operates at a speed of 250 kilometers per hour. Construction began in 2012, and the line includes eight stations such as Baoji South, Tianshui South, Dingxi North, and Lanzhou West. The railway primarily serves as a direct connection for passenger traffic from Gansu, Qinghai, and Xinjiang to other regions while also accommodating rapid intercity passenger flows between large and medium-sized cities along the route. It is a high-standard, high-frequency, and high-capacity high-speed railway. After the Baoji-Lanzhou high-speed railway commenced operations on July 9, 2017, the travel time between Lanzhou and Xi’an was reduced from the current 6 hours to about 3 hours.
