The Launch of a New High-Speed Rail Line

The countdown to the inauguration has begun! A new high-speed rail line is about to be launched, reaching speeds of up to 350 kilometers per hour, with six brand-new high-speed rail stations ready to debut! Many travelers are exploring new ways of journeying, with some opting for car or air travel, but high-speed rail is quietly revolutionizing this choice.

Imagine this scene: you are sitting comfortably, the world outside your window switches like scenes in a movie, yet your body feels as if it’s floating on clouds, barely sensing any vibrations from the ground.

High-speed rail is not only a close companion of transportation in the new era but has also swiftly enhanced the fluidity of life.

When it comes to Yan’an, this historic town on the Loess Plateau, once a red fortress during the war, is now a treasure trove for red tourism.

The historical rhythm and the spirit of Yan’an are indelible marks in the hearts of the Chinese people. Yan’an serves as a monument to the past and a chapter towards future progress.

Turning to Yulin, this “Pearl of the Borderlands” at the northern end of Shaanxi, is a key hub connecting northern Shaanxi and the desert.

Its unique geographical location and its rich tourism treasures and bustling commerce have earned it fame. Yulin is gradually becoming the economic beacon of Northern Shaanxi.

These two city-states, each with its own charm, will soon be closely connected by a golden line called the “Yan-Yu High-Speed Rail.”

This planned railway, spanning approximately 238.8 kilometers, will travel at a breakneck speed of 350 kilometers per hour. In other words, it will take only two hours from the ancient city of Xi’an to Yulin.

Along this route, there will be six new stations: Yan’an New District, Yanchuan, Qingjian North, Suide West, Mizhi North, and Yulin South. These stations will not only reduce fatigue for travelers but also mark a new chapter for the high-speed rail city cluster.

Yan’an New District Station is expected to have four platforms and nine tracks, along with ample parking and maintenance lines to ensure the smooth operation of the high-speed rail.

Meanwhile, plans for Suide West Station and Yulin South Station are also well-prepared for future development, facilitating seamless connections with other railways.

This high-speed railway is more than just a link between two cities; it proudly becomes a crucial part of the national “Eight Verticals and Eight Horizontals” high-speed transportation network, fitting perfectly into Shaanxi’s “Mi”-shaped railway layout.

Each inch of rail and every stop embodies endless aspirations and firm determination for the prospects of Northern Shaanxi.

Discussing the profound significance of the Yan-Yu High-Speed Railway, it transcends a mere transportation route.

It is like a bridge of spirit, tightly connecting the thoughts and emotions of Yan’an and Yulin.

This modern pathway significantly boosts the economic leap of Northern Shaanxi, facilitating tourism, commerce, and cultural exchanges between regions, injecting continuous passion and vitality.

For the residents of Northern Shaanxi, it is more than a concrete path; it is the destination of their emotions.

This is a warm corridor, nurturing their aspirations for a more glorious future in their homeland.

Every passing of the train resonates with the deepest visions in their hearts.

With the final rail spike hammered down in 2028, the first train gliding over this ancient and hopeful land marks a new chapter.

The Yan-Yu High-Speed Rail will not only provide convenient travel for the public but also open new doors of hope for this profound land.

Ultimately, imagine this scene: you stand at the station, the train is about to arrive, surrounded by an endless stream of people, with the fiery red flags of Yan’an before your eyes and the gentle breeze of Yulin whispering in your ears.
