East Ring High-speed Railway 东环高铁

The East Ring High-speed Railway is my country’s first island high-speed railway. The East Ring High-speed Railway has a total length of 308.11 kilometers, starting from Haikou in the north and ending in Sanya in the south. It has a maximum speed of 250 kilometers per hour and the entire journey takes 90 minutes. The line starts from Haikou Railway Station in the north, passes through Haikou, Wenchang, Qionghai, Wanning, Lingshui, and finally ends at Sanya Station. Together with the West Ring Line, it forms a ring-island railway with 20 stations planned for the entire line. The East Ring Railway will be officially opened to traffic on December 30. The Eastern Ring Railway is a Class I double-line. It is an intensive, fast, and public rapid passenger railway that mainly focuses on tourist passenger flow and intercity passenger flow. Hainan’s history of no electrified railways and no intercity rail transit has ended.

东环高铁为我国第一条海岛高速铁路，东环高铁全长308.11公里，北起海口，南止三亚，最高时速250公里，全程运行90分钟。线路北起海口火车站，沿途经过海口、文昌、琼海、万宁、陵水，最后至终点三亚站，与西环线共同形成环岛铁路，全线计划设20个站。东环铁路将于12月30日正式通车运行。东环铁路等级为I级双线，是一条以旅游客流和城际客流为主的密集型、快速型、公交化的快速客运铁路。海南没有电气化铁路、没有城际轨道交通的历史从此结束
