The Guangzhou-Shanwei High-Speed Railway
Starting from Xintang Station on the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Railway, extends eastward through Zengcheng District in Guangzhou, Boluo County, Huicheng District, Zhongkai High-Tech District, Huiyang District, and Huidong County in Huizhou City, as well as the Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone and Haifeng County in Shanwei City, reaching Shanwei Station on the Xiamen-Shenzhen Railway. The new line is 206.2 kilometers long and will have seven new stations. It is designed for train speeds of up to 350 km/h, with a total estimated investment of 43.21 billion yuan and a construction period of 4 years. Once the Guangzhou-Shanwei Railway is operational, the commuting time from Guangzhou to Shanwei will be reduced from the current roughly 2 hours to about 40 minutes, which will further facilitate travel for the public and help accelerate the development of the eastern region of Guangdong.
The Guangzhou-Shanwei High-Speed Railway is a high-speed rail corridor from Guangzhou to the eastern region of Guangdong, extending to Shantou. The total length of the two projects combined is about 366 kilometers, designed for a speed of 350 kilometers per hour. The Guangzhou-Shanwei Railway will connect at Guangzhou Station to the Guangmao Railway to form the Shanmao Railway, becoming a horizontal high-speed railway network in Guangdong Province. The western end of the Guangzhou-Shanwei High-Speed Railway will be connected through the Guangzhou hub to the Guiguang, Nanguang, Guangzhu, Shenmao railways, and the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway corridor, serving the core area of the Pearl River Delta and reaching out to western Guangdong and the southwest; in the central part, in the Huizhou area, it will take over the Beijing-Kowloon Railway corridor, connecting to Jiangxi, Anhui, and other central and eastern regions; at the eastern end, in the Shanwei area, it will connect to the coastal railway, Shanshan Railway, and the Longshan Railway branch of the Beijing-Kowloon Railway, reaching the southeastern and eastern coastal regions.
广汕高铁
广州至汕尾铁路自广深铁路新塘站引出,向东经广州市所辖增城区,惠州市所辖博罗县、惠城区、仲恺高新区、惠阳区、惠东县和汕尾市所辖深汕合作区、海丰县,至厦深铁路汕尾站,新建线路总长206.2km,全线新设7座车站,铁路设计行车速度350km/h,工程投资估算总额432.1亿元,建设工期4年。广汕铁路建成通车后,广州到汕尾的通勤时间将由现在的2小时左右压缩到40分钟左右,进一步方便人民群众出行,助推粤东地区加快发展。 广汕高铁是广州通往粤东地区的高速铁路通道,广州到汕尾将延伸至汕头,两个项目线路相加全长约366公里,设计时速350公里。广汕铁路在广州站接入广茂铁路组成汕茂铁路,成为广东省高铁的一横。广汕客专西端通过广州枢纽衔接贵广、南广、广珠、深茂铁路及京广铁路通道,沟通珠三角核心地区,并辐射粤西、西南等地;中部在惠州地区承接京九铁路通道,连接江西、安徽等中东部片区;东端在汕尾地区与沿海铁路、汕汕铁路、京九铁路支线龙汕铁路相连,通达东南及华东沿海地区。
