The Xingquan Railway is a national first-class railway connecting Xingguo County in Jiangxi Province to Quanzhou City in Fujian Province. It starts from Xingguo Station on the Beijing-Kowloon Railway, passing through Xingguo, Yudu, Ningdu, and Shicheng in Jiangxi Province, then through Ninghua, Qingliu, Mingxi, Sanyuan District, Yong’an, and Datian in Fujian Province. It continues through Dehua, Yongchun, Anxi, Nan’an, and other counties and cities, finally reaching Quanzhou City. The total length of the main line is 495.867 kilometers. The Xingquan Railway is an important railway trunk line for the development of resources along the line and serving the old revolutionary base areas. It is a vital way to connect Quanzhou Port to inland railway freight transportation and plays a crucial role in promoting the economic development of southern Jiangxi and other former central Soviet areas. The Xingquan Railway will also put an end to the history of Ningdu and Shicheng counties not having railway services.
The preliminary work for the Xingguo to Ninghua section of the Xingquan Railway has started, covering a distance of 7.02 kilometers, mainly including the Yudu No. 1 Tunnel, Heshu No. 2 Tunnel, and other projects, with an estimated investment of about 313.18 million yuan. The project’s main technical standards are for a national railway first-class, single line, with speeds up to 160 kilometers per hour. This project is an important part of the railway corridor from the Haixi Economic Zone to the central, southwestern, and northwestern regions of China. It is a regional passenger and freight railway that focuses on the development of land resources along the line and serves the old revolutionary base areas. The construction of the project is significant for perfecting the regional network layout, improving network density, promoting the revitalization and development of the former central Soviet areas in Jiangxi, Fujian, and Guangdong, and forming a railway corridor that connects the Haixi Economic Zone with central China and the inland regions of Jiangxi, Hunan, the Southwest, and Northwest. The preliminary work for the early-start section has laid a solid foundation for the commencement of construction within the year.
兴泉铁路 是由江西省兴国县至福建省泉州市的国家一级铁路。由京九铁路兴国站引出,经江西省赣州市兴国、于都、宁都、石城,福建省三明市宁化、清流、明溪、三元区、永安、大田,再经德化、永春、安溪、南安等县市,终至泉州市,正线全长495.867公里。兴泉铁路是开发沿线资源、服务革命老区的重要铁路干线,是打通泉州港通往内陆铁路货运的重要方式,对促进赣南等原中央苏区经济发展起到至关重要的作用。兴泉铁路将结束宁都、石城县没有铁路的历史。 兴泉铁路兴国至宁化段先期开工段线路全长7.02公里,主要包括于都一号隧道、荷树二号隧道等工程,投资概算约31318万元。项目主要技术标准为国铁I级、单线、时速160公里。该项目是海西经济区通往中西南地区铁路通道的重要组成部分,是一条以开发沿线国土资源、服务革命老区为主的区域客货运铁路。项目的建设对完善区域路网布局,提高路网密度,促进赣闽粤原中央苏区振兴发展,形成连接海西经济区与华中、赣、湘及西南、西北等内陆地区的铁路通道具有重要的意义和作用。该项目先期开工段初步设计的批复为年内开工建设奠定了扎实的基础。
