Changde-Yiyang-Changsha High-Speed Railway

The Changde-Yiyang-Changsha High-Speed Railway is a high-speed rail line in China that connects the cities of Changde, Yiyang, and Changsha in Hunan Province. It is an integral part of the national “Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal” high-speed railway network, specifically contributing to the Xiamen to Chongqing and Hohhot to Nanning corridors. This railway is also a key component in forming the high-speed rail loop within the province.

The Changde-Yiyang-Changsha High-Speed Railway is an important segment of the Chongqing-Xiamen (Yu-Xia) High-Speed Railway corridor and intersects with the Qianjiang-Zhangjiajie-Changde Railway. The Changde-Yiyang (Changde to Yiyang) section coincides with the Hohhot-Nanning (Hu-Nan) corridor. The main line of the Changde-Yiyang-Changsha High-Speed Railway is 189.8 kilometers long and is designed as a passenger-dedicated line with a planned speed of 350 kilometers per hour. It is a double-track line for both directions, entirely powered by electricity with automatic control systems.

Geographically situated in the northwestern part of Hunan Province, the line is located within the industrial cluster belt that spans the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan city group and the ecological economic circle around Dongting Lake. There are a total of 5 stations along the Changde-Yiyang-Changsha High-Speed Railway, which include Changde, Hanshou South, Yiyang South, Ningxiang West, and the new Changsha West station.

常益长高速铁路(Changde-Yiyang-Changsha High-Speed Railway),是中国境内一条连接湖南省常德市、益阳市和长沙市的高速铁路,是国家“八纵八横”高速铁路网中厦门至重庆、呼和浩特至南宁两条大通道的重要组成部分,是形成我省高铁环线的关键组成部分 。 常益长高铁为渝厦(重庆——厦门)高铁通道的重要组成部分,与黔张常(重庆——张家界——常德)铁路贯通,其中常益(常德——益阳)段与呼南(呼和浩特——南宁)通道共线 。常益长高速铁路正线全长189.8公里,拟按时速350公里的客运专线建设,为客运专线,上下行双线,全部为电力牵引和自动控制。线路位于湖南省西北部,处在长株潭城市群以及环洞庭湖生态经济圈 的长株潭-益阳-常德城镇产业聚合带内。长益常高速铁路沿线共设设常德、汉寿南、益阳南、宁乡西、新长沙西站等5个站点。
