Chengdu-Mianyang-Leshan Intercity High Speed Railway 成绵乐城际高速铁路

The Chengdu-Mianyang-Leshan Intercity High-Speed Railway Passenger Line, also known as the Cheng-Mian-Le Intercity Line, starts from Chengdu East Railway Station and extends northward through Guanghan, Deyang, and Mianyang to Jiangyou, while to the south it passes through Chengdu South Station, Shuangliu Airport (Shuangliu West Station), Meishan, Qingshen, Leshan, and finally reaches Emeishan Station. This intercity high-speed railway is a double-track, electrified railway utilizing 8-car CRH-2 high-speed train sets to realize transit-like operations, making it the first high-speed passenger railway line in Southwest China. The Cheng-Mian-Le Intercity Railway was completed on June 29, 2014, and officially began operations on December 20, 2014.

The Cheng-Mian-Le Intercity Line starts from Chengdu East Station and heads north to Jiangyou through Guanghan, Deyang, and Mianyang; to the south, it goes through Shuangliu Airport, Pengshan, Meishan, Qingshen, Leshan, and eventually reaches Emeishan. There are a total of 21 stations along the line, which has a total length of 312.396 kilometers. The ratio of bridges and tunnels along the entire line is 60.3%, with 157 bridges and 9 tunnels on the main line. The design speed of the line is 250 km/h, with infrastructure in place to potentially increase speeds to between 300 and 350 km/h in the future. From Chengdu, it takes less than an hour to reach Leshan to the south and Jiangyou in Mianyang to the north. In the near term, following the completion of the Cheng-Mian-Le Intercity Line, it will serve as a connecting point for the Xi’an-Chengdu Passenger Dedicated Line: extending north to Guangyuan and Xi’an, and connecting with the Zhengzhou-Xi’an and Beijing-Guangzhou High-Speed Railways to form a fast 8-hour passenger transport channel from Chengdu to Beijing; extending south to Yibin and Guiyang, connecting with the Guiyang-Guangzhou Railway, to create a fast 6-hour passenger transport channel from Chengdu to Guangzhou.

成绵乐城际高速铁路客运专线(Chengdu, Mianyang, Leshan intercity high-speed railway line)，起于成都东站，向北经广汉、德阳、绵阳等延伸至江油，向南经成都南站、双流机场、(双流西站)、眉山、青神、乐山等最终抵达峨眉山站。成绵乐城际高速铁路客运专线为双线电气化铁路，采用8编的CRH-2动车组，实现公交化运营，是西南地区首条高速铁路客运专线。成绵乐城际铁路2014年6月29日全线轨通。2014年12月20日，成绵乐城际铁路正式投运。 成绵乐客专起于成都东站，向北经广汉、德阳、绵阳至江油，向南经过双流机场、彭山、眉山、青神、乐山，最后抵达峨眉山，全线共21个车站，线路正线全长312.396公里，全线桥隧比60.3%，正线共有桥梁157座、隧道9座。成绵乐客专设计速度250公里/小时，基础设施预留300公里/小时~350公里/小时提速条件。从成都出发，不到一个小时就能到达南面的乐山和北边的绵阳江油。在近期，成绵乐客专建成后，将是西安-成都客运专线的连接点:向北延向广元、西安，与郑西、京广高铁相连，形成成都至北京8小时快速客运通道;向南延向宜宾、贵阳，连接贵广铁路，形成成都至广州6小时快速客运通道。
