Connecting Jinhua and Jiande(金建高铁)
A new high-speed rail line is being laid across the land of Zhejiang, linking Jinhua to Jiande. Dubbed the Jinhua-Jiande High-Speed Rail(金建高铁), this route is expected to embark on its inaugural journey in 2024, with a design speed of up to 250 kilometers per hour.
Along the Line: Four Stations Connected
The Jinhua-Jiande High-Speed Rail starts from Jinhua and ends at Jiande, with two additional newly built stations along the way: Lanxi East Station and Dayang Station. These four stations, like sparkling pearls, connect this prosperous region.
Construction Progress: Breakthroughs in Bridge Building
The construction of the Jinhua-Jiande High-Speed Rail has already achieved significant milestones. Key breakthroughs include the completion of the first continuous girder of the Yuwu Creek Grand Bridge and the first aquatic continuous girder of the Lanjiang Grand Bridge, indicating the engineers’ accelerated efforts to ensure timely completion.
High-Speed Travel: Time Compression
The launch of this high-speed rail will significantly reduce travel time between Jinhua and Jiande. The journey from Jiande to Lanxi will take only 15 minutes, and traveling from Jinhua to Huangshan will be just a 1-hour trip.
